Project Description
Shell Nederland Chemie BV manufactures base chemicals from the petroleum fractions naphtha, hydrowax, gasoil and LPG. A pipeline
transports most of feedstock from the Shell refinery at Pernis to Moerdijk. Europe’s largest with a capacity to process 404,000 barrels per day of crude.
The major maintenance completion means Shell Pernis oil refinery in the Netherlands will not require maintenance of the same scale for another 3 to 6 years at the refinery.
